Something that is accepted as security for a loan. IRL this could be a property in exchange for a mortgage. In web3, this could be digital assets such as Ethereum, stablecoins or an NFT.

A term applied to extremely large candles on the trading charts of assets, mainly used for crypto assets. Typically there is a very long solid candle with a wick that with a little imagination could resemble the male appendage. They come (ahem) in red and green varieties, with green of course being the more popular.

A hot wallet is a cryptocurrency wallet that is connected to the internet with the private keys also accessible on the internet. Storing assets in this way can leave them susceptible to a hack. The other option is to have a hardware wallet.

Used in AMMs or DEXs like Uniswap, a liquidity pool is, as it sounds, a pool of crypto assets used to facilitate trades. A typical liquidity pool may consist of two assets, e.g. ETH and USDT. Yield farmers deposit equal parts ETH and USDT into the pool. In return they get LP tokens and yield. The pool acts as market maker, so if somebody wants to swap USDT for ETH, they deposit USDT into the pool and they withdraw ETH. This happens simultaneously via the smart contract. Any coin traded on a DEX lives or dies by a vibrant Liquidity Pool.

This is the total value of a coin or token or, for NFTs, the total of all assets within a collection based on its current market price. For crypto currency, simply multiply a coin by the (circulating or total depending) token supply. Market cap is useful to get past the psychology of low unit bias, the idea that because a coin has a tiny price it has more potential to increase.
