In true copypasta style, it was seized upon and reposted constantly until it became the rallying cry of the Bitcoin community and survives to this day. It encourages investors to buy and then simply HODL their Bitcoin and crypto, on the premise that over time it will just go up, No trading or clever moves required.

A bull market condition that Bitcoin maxis seem to contract that alters their Twitter PFP in the hope that $BTC will hit $100k. Generally lasts 1-2 months.

A mainnet is the Layer 1 of a blockchain where actual transactions occur, rather than other associated test networks such as signet and testnet. Mainnet coins such as ETH and BTC have monetary value and can be traded on the blockchain.

Short for Maximialist, a phrase coined by @Vitalik Buterin. A maxi is someone who thinks that their crypto coin/project will be the dominant one in the space and they typically believe only in that one coin. They often advocate selling everything else, IRL assets included, and piling it all into the one coin. They can be toxic, funny and occasionally even correct.
