Nonce
Definition:
Short for Number only used once. All blocks within a blockchain feature an encrypted nonce, which is also known as being hashed. Blockchain miners use computers to solve the mathematical computations to determine this nonce, receiving a reward for uncovering the solution. Has an entirely different meaning in English slang… be careful where you use this word!!
